FROM FLOOR TO PARTIAL SUSPENSION

✱THIS COURSE IS SUITABLE FOR RIGGERS WHO KNOW HOW TO BUILD THE MAIN HARNESSES AND HAVE A SOLID BASIS IN FLOORWORK.

This class is a complete introduction to partial-suspension. It is suitable for riggers who are comfortable with floor bondage and wish to evolve their practice towards partial-suspension, as well as those with some experience who wish to deepen their knowledge or comfort levels.
In this course, we’ll take an in-depth look at structural concepts: how do you know if a harness is suspendable or not? What questions need to be asked when building a harness that will be attached to a suspension line? etc.
We’ll also talk about suspension lines: how do we tie and handle them? How do we lock them? etc.

Partial-suspension is riskier than floor bondage, so we will take time to discuss the new safety features involved in this practice.
For those who are tied, this course is an opportunity to explore new sensations and emotions generated by partial-suspension, and to share thoughts on the topic.

✱ This workshop lasts one or two days.
